Straddle Pose

Coming into Straddle
☯️ Sit tall with your legs comfortably wide apart.
☯️ If you find it difficult to tilt your pelvis forward, sit on a cushion or folded blanket to create more space and support.
☯️ Take a deep breath in, lengthening through your spine. As you breathe out, gently begin to lean forward from your waist.
Using Props
🪷 If you feel a lot of tension through your hamstrings or inner thighs, soften or bend your knees and place blocks or cushions underneath your thighs for support.
🪷 Allow your body to relax into the support. There is no need to force yourself forward — find a position where you can stay comfortably and allow the body to gradually soften.
🪷 🪷 Allow yourself to settle into the pose for 3–6 minutes, breathing slowly and letting the body gradually soften.
Coming Out of the Pose
🌾 Slowly press your hands into the floor and gently bring your torso back to an upright position. Take your time as you come out of the pose, allowing your body to adjust gradually.
🌾Once upright, place your hands behind you for support and gently bring your legs back together. Take a moment to relax, shake out your legs, or move them softly in any way that feels good.
🌾Pause and notice the sensations in your body before moving into your next pose.
